Until it is safe to relocate, the employee may be approved to telework to the maximum extent possible, up to and including full-time.QualificationsSpecialized Experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Experience for this position includes: Creating or managing products for ongoing public affairs strategies that maximize the clarity, impact, relevance, timeliness, and usefulness of statistical content;using state-of-the-art digital tools and strategies and outreach to stakeholders and the public through social media; and communicating through a variety of media and in person to a diverse audience. Education: Education can not be substituted for experience at this grade level. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (eg, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (eg, professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
