The Financial Analyst will work from the corporate headquarters in Fulton, MD, reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Finance and Strategy. Responsible for supporting Window Nation's Operations, Sales and Marketing and Senior Management teams, this role will analyze and report financial and key operating statistics to provide insight and recommendations.Window Nation is a rapidly growing organization and is currently located in nine different business markets across the mid-Atlantic and mid-West regions. The company plans on doubling in size within the next five years. This position is integral in the implementation of efficient and sustainable financial practices at the direction and collaboration with the Finance Leadership.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze financial and operational data to produce forecasts of business conditions and trends for use in making key business decisions.Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.Support accounting team, operations team, and Senior Manager by performing strategic business analysis to accelerate growth and profitability of rapidly growing company in a fast-paced environment.Identify opportunities for improving processes through analysis and assists in the development of sound business processes.Prepare financial and statistical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.Manage the commission process including:Communicate with all parties involved in the commissions processReview work orders set by Sales people and Install AuditorsReconcile commission paymentsReview all reports and commissions for accuracyResearch and resolve all inquiries from ManagersMaintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts, budgets and modelsComplete financial returns analyses of key processes for installation, marketing and sales teams.Generate and analyze information utilizing various reporting tools including Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics365 and other reports generated by internal and external stakeholdersAssist in special projects and other duties as assigned by Financial LeadershipAssist in the preparation of monthly reporting to various internal and external stakeholders, including senior managementAbility to work with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Dynamics CRM, Business Objects)QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred; AND two to four (2-4) years of experience in financial analysis or equivalent analytical experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experienceSuccess FactorsStrong analytical skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment, while managing multiple deadlinesIntermediate experience with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel.Desire to improve processes and take initiativeAbility to communicate effectively in verbal and written capacities to varying levels of leadership.Ability to communicate across departments throughout all tasks.Ability to handle confidential informationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to the individual's race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age, disability, genetic information, status as a military veteran or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
