Our Global Support Office team members are energetic, innovative, and creative individuals who are A Cut Above !This position is responsible for supporting the Human Resources function for our Regional field operations teams. This individual will consult with management and employees to identify, evaluate, and resolve employee issues and work performance problems. Support and ensure consistent execution of HR initiatives in the areas of Performance Management, Total Rewards, Training, Staffing, Compliance, and Employment Practices.Principal Duties & Responsibilities:Establish self as a trusted partner and advisor with the Field Operations leadership by partnering to execute human resource programs, services, and solutions that enable them to successfully meet their goals.Responsible for functioning in a full cycle Sr. HR Business Partner role, guiding leaders on decisions involving employee relations, partner with compensation and benefits to respond appropriately to questions, and talent needs specific to the regions they support.Consult with management and employees to identify, evaluate, and resolve employee issues, helpline/hotline call reports and work performance problems within established PF Chang's practices.Effectively work in a decentralized HR support structure, by collaborating with all appropriate leaders to ensure consistency across the function. Facilitate regular, meaningful two-way communication between the Global Support Center (GSC) and Operations Field Leadership on key HR issues.Support talent planning and performance management processes to include: goal setting, employee feedback and coaching, succession planning at the restaurant level and performance evaluation; provide guidance to managers on all performance management activity; ensure they comply with process deadlines.Partner with compensation to guide leaders in the administration and interpretation of compensation policy, assuring consistent administration and job titles.Provide guidance to leaders in identifying training and development opportunities and partner with the Sr. Director, HR field operations and Operations training teams to facilitate and/or develop training.Partner with the Risk and Worker's Compensation team to drive safety plans, procedures and policies.Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment laws, company policy and Standard Operating Procedures.Success Measures: High-quality relationships with field leaders characterized by trust and access for influence.Productive working relationships with other HR functions.Measurable improvement on field leader effectiveness, esp. in the areas of ER issues, talent planning, and successor development for their specific leaders.Measurable reductions in % of substantiated claims received through Ethics Point for assigned regions.Measurable improvement in HR Compliance audit results for assigned regions.Job Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required; PHR/SPHR Certification is highly preferredMinimum five years Human Resources generalist experience with demonstrated experience developing strong, collaborative business relationships with client management teams; multi-site, multi-state environment is highly preferredStrong working knowledge of federal and state employment law, employee relations and corporate policies and proceduresKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Ability to model the company values and to provide innovative solutionsAbility to drive and be accountable for results in a fast paced environmentAbility to anticipate, analyze, and prioritize complex problems including:Ability to present ideas in a clear and compelling manner, both verbally and in written formatStrong listening and conflict resolution skillsStrong presentation and training facilitation skillsDemonstrated proficiency in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Work Environment: Work is performed in a home office or restaurant environment Travel up to 40% of time throughout assigned region and Restaurant Support Office as needed
