Our work depends on an IT Business Analyst joining our team to support NIH Office of Management activities in Bethesda, MD. At GDIT, our people are at the center of everything we do. As an IT Business Analyst, you will develop and present solutions to an executive-level audience.In this role, a typical day will include:Supporting IT Governance Review of proposed technical solutionsAssisting in the development of and reviewing enterprise system budgetsFormulating strategic planning documents for IT systemsMaintaining content on various SharePoint sites and provisioning users with access to content as requiredCommunicating with IT systems owners and related staff to discuss and clarify submissions to the Governance BoardPreparing presentations for and presenting to senior level audiencesWriting and updating project charters and project documentationWHAT YOU'LL NEED:BS in an Information Management or similar IT or business fieldMinimum of two years related experienceExperience supporting an enterprise architecture or IT governance program as a business analystExceptional writing skills with the ability to write about technical subjectsExceptional public speaking and presentation abilitiesFamiliarity with IT systemsExperience working with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)Ability to analyze cost vs. benefit of IT solutionsProficiency with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and TeamsPrior Business Case writing experienceFamiliarity with Project Management practicesExperience working on multiple projects at once, balancing priorities and multitaskingAbility to obtain Level 5 Public TrustDesired Qualifications:Minimum of three years of experience as a business analystWHAT GDIT CAN OFFER YOU:401K with company matchChallenging workInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your careerRewards program for high-performing employeesOpportunity to work with NIH high level executivesNot sure this job's the one for you?
