Seeking an associate with deep network and wireless knowledge and experience, who can multitask and think intuitively. Candidate should be flexible and able to implore time management and project management skills, as well as have strong troubleshooting abilities. This primary responsibility of this position is supporting Capital One Branch and Caf network and wireless environments. The position is also responsible for some Branch desktop support, voice support and general IT support. Other responsibilities include using network monitoring tools and utilities for proactive monitoring, troubleshooting and incident response. Areas of focus include routing, switching, network security, and Cisco wireless hardware and software. Ability to communicate and foster collaboration in IT and business areas, as well as build relationships with business partners and other support teams is critical. This position may require working weekends occasionally and participating on a rotating on-call schedule to support 24/7 operations when branches and cafes are open.General Responsibilities:Provide guidance, assistance, coordination and follow up on user questions, problems or malfunctions of Branch and Caf networks, hardware, software and wireless equipmentProactively, identify and address issues utilizing provided toolsPerform daily monitoring, updating and closing of incident tickets Escalate issues as needed and maintain communication with the customer, technical teams and Vendors within the established service level agreementsInform management of potential problems and identifies problem trendsCreate and maintain support documentation and training materialsImplement new strategies or procedures when requiredAssist with Installs, configure and upgrade device hardware and software as needed.Any other duties and special projects as assignedBasic Qualifications:At least 1 years' experience in IT Systems and infrastructureAt least 1 years' experience with TCP/IP protocolsAt least 1 years' experience with Windows operating systems and supportAt least 1 years' experience with Linux operating systemsAt least 1 years' experience in Network Management and Monitoring Tools and UtilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or EngineeringCCNA certificate, Network +, Security +At least 3 years experience in Incident, Change, Problem and Configuration ManagementAt least 2 years experience in all aspects of Network and SecurityAt least 1 year of experience in Fault, Capacity and Performance ManagementDemonstrated working experience supporting several of the following telecommunication technologies: Routers, Switches, DNS, DHCP and Wireless technologies in medium to large enterprise environmentsAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.No agencies please.
