Job Description CACI is looking for a Cyber Security Engineering Specialist with a Linux/Network Engineering background to work on Enterprise Cross-Domain Systems and associated projects. These systems provide reliable data transfers between domains for general users and programs.Your responsibilities will include the following: + Work with a software development team to create the interfaces required to allow for an enterprise cross domain system (CDS) to be used to send database contents and attachments between disparate security fabrics + Linux Systems Engineering / Administration (SA) working with virtual servers, physical servers, and associated technologies. + Support new design/architecture tasking as part of system modernization development efforts as requested. + Research data elements (ex. PDF elements like FPF) + Analyze file types (MIME types (ex. Txt / MIME type: text/plain) + JAVA/security patch management. + Utilize knowledge of filter technologies: ie, Purifile, -xml, Glasswall, AV Scan, Dirty Word. + Ensures products and systems comply with requirements and government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods. + Assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures. + Develop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements. + Work with Linux base OS especially RHEL. + Support rotational on-call support. + Work individually and actively participate on integrated teams + Need to understand how files move across the network You'll Bring These Qualifications: + Active TS/SCI Clearance with Poly required + 4-6 years of experience as a Linux/Network Engineer. + 4-6 years of experience working in Cyber Security. + Experience with ensuring products and systems comply with requirements + In-depth knowledge of validation by government information assurance and cyber security standards and practices through formal verification methods. + STIG experience. + Experience working in Agile, SAFe, and Scrum environments. + Working knowledge of filter technologies: ie, Purifile, -xml, Glasswall, AV Scan, Dirty Word + Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field (ie Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science) These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: + IAT Level III + Experience working with RHEL or CentOS + CISSP or CASP+ Certifications What We Can Offer You:- We've been named a Best Place to Work by the Washington Post.- Our employees value the flexibility at CACI that allows them to balance quality work and their personal lives.- We offer competitive benefits and learning and development opportunities.- We are mission-oriented and ever vigilant in aligning our solutions with the nation's highest priorities.- For over 55 years, the principles of CACI's unique, character-based culture have been the driving force behind our success.BITS3 Job Location US-Herndon-VA-VIRGINIA SUBURBAN CACI employs a diverse range of talent to create an environment that fuels innovation and fosters continuous improvement and success.
