Accounting Specialist City of Westminster This position is responsible for acting as record keeper, bookkeeper and/or customer service representative for the Finance Department and is responsible for a variety of accounting functions which may include accepting payments from customers and processing payments received in the mail on a daily basis; coordinates and processes Accounts Payable; reconciles bank accounts; processes the City's water and sewer billing and maintains all accounts; coordinates and processes payroll and related reports; maintains computer posting of the general ledger; and processes personal and tangible taxes. Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; two years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and related experience. This is a full-time position 40 hours per week. Hourly rate $18.80. Benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance and pension plan.
