Position Overview:
Freddie Mac's Investment and Capital Markets Securitization Division is currently seeking a Securities Modeling Manager, who will be responsible for leading the cash flow modeling for Agency REMIC, CMBS and Credit Risk Transfer transactions as part of the Multiclass Securitization team. Our Impact:
The team is responsible for executing Single Family and Multifamily structured securitization transactions to ensure accurate disclosure to investors and to facilitate bond administration. This group focuses on creating cash flows models to help analyze various structures and expand the company's securitization capabilities
Your Impact:
  • Model complex REMIC, Credit Risk Transfer and Multifamily structured transactions using Intex Dealmaker and Intex Calc.
  • Closely work with internal and external business partners to perform analysis and research of securitization transactions to achieve better execution.
  • Lead cash flow tie-out and help junior team members debug cash flow models and control data quality.
  • Verify accuracy of disclosures in the transaction offering documents.
  • Perform quality control for cash flow models and transaction data to support bond administration.
  • Lead process improvements through automation.
  • Help develop junior team members technical skills and securitization knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science or related fields and 8+ years of experience in cash flow modeling in REMIC, CMBS and credit risk transfer transactions
  • Exceptional knowledge of cash flow modeling tools like Intex Desktop and Intex DealMaker are preferred or similar software
  • Working knowledge of database (i.e. SAS) and query tools is a plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, multi-tasking and analytical skills.
