Let your imagination take flight supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD). Looking to find work that stimulates your mind, challenges your skills, and satisfies your curiosity? MIL currently holds several multi-year contracts with NAWCAD in the areas of Cyber, C5ISR, and Information Technology systems.

The MIL Corporation is seeking a Security Engineerng, Senior Associate to support a Federal Government client at our Southern Maryland location. The Security Engineering, Sr. Associate shall perform the duties of an Electronic Warfare (EW) Engineer by providing technical expertise to the prime contractor and its subcontractors to resolve DECM Suite integration challenges and coordinate with hardware suppliers for further assistance. Technical support will also be provided to the NAVAIR Fleet Support Team and Marine Corps Fleet Introduction Team as the CH-53K is evaluated and fielded. Duties will require liaison with PMA272 and other Mission Aligned Organizations to define, validate, and document hardware and software needs to meet CH-53K platform requirements.

Key Duties
  • Performs reviews and revisions on platform, hardware, and software specifications and documents.
  • Attendance and participation in daily meetings to make decisions, solve problems, generate ideas, and develop courses of action.
  • Travel to supplier facilities for integration events, testing events, and meetings that cannot be held virtually.
  • Administrative tasking to ensure other organizations are informed on CH-53K platform and DECM risks, issues, and opportunities

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering from an ABET accredited course of study
  • 15 years professional engineering experience, in conducting hardware and software diagnostics/integration and working with Linux operating systems
