LEARN MOREAs a Human Resources Specialist, you will perform the following duties:Establishes a wide array of HR data-related business processes and reporting. Enters information into existing databases and creates new databases as needed. Collaborates with HR professionals and performs HR processes to implement programs; ensure accurate input of data and to store critical data used to make high level HR decisions. Establishes and works with data structures to ensure consistency and effectiveness within the (Processing & Personnel Records Management Center (PPRM). Serves as an HR spokesperson and attends stakeholder meetings with service providers and various GSA, OHRM, PPRM staff. Troubleshoots processes and collaborates with contractors and others to validate and fix errors based on PPRM requirements. Performs reviews and inputs help desk tickets to ensure that PPRM data management goals and objectives are met. Facilitates high level conversations regarding HR business processes to provide technical support to contractors and other service providers. Identifies the root cause of mismatch HR personnel and related action errors and reports. Makes recommendations for the resolution of data mismatches between HR Links, GSA Credential & Identity Management System, Monster Government Solutions and other GSA HR business systems. Reviews conversion data extracts and ICD's (interface control documents) to determine the reasons for mismatches and to propose viable solutions to fix complex problems. Establishes and assists in implementing process improvement and state-of-the-art strategies focused on Data analysis, evaluation and review functions. Participates in the design, development, testing, and deployment of new, existing and proposed HR systems for use across several organizational HR disciplines within GSA (ie classification, staffing, HR processing). Gathers and analyzes HR data and collaborates with HR staff to include Classifiers, Staffers, HR Processors and others stakeholders and partners regarding HR reports and findings. The GS-13 salary range starts at $79,468 per year. Locality will be determined based on duty location.If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To qualify, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience administering one or more human resources (HR) automated systems.
