We have a client looking for an experienced and talented Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their team.

The firm is well established and the staff is well-tenured as the firm is such a wonderful place to work. The firm is expanding and they are looking for someone who wants to work in a boutique firm setting. The ideal match is someone with at least two years of commercial real estate experience and who wants to be with the firm for the long term. The firm really works to keep staff happy, safe and healthy - hence the long tenure of the team.

The day-to-day duties look like this: a review of commercial real estate title insurance commitments and surveys working toward acceptable final title insurance policies; preparing closing documents and reviewing due diligence documentation; preparation of collateral descriptions and financing statements; perform paralegal duties and responsibilities as directed by assigned attorneys; monitor and meet deadlines under purchase and sale or other agreements and other duties as assigned.

The attributes they are looking for in talent is someone who is accustomed to juggling multiple assignments in a fast-paced team-oriented environment; possess impeccable attention to detail and analytical skills; a natural self-starter who is detail-oriented with strong organizational and verbal/written communication skills; someone that accomplishes routine assignments with minimum supervision and who can manage a large workload in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Requirements

  • Degree
  • Three plus years as a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
  • Able to juggle multiple assignments at one time
  • Title and survey experience
  • Experience preparing closing documents
  • Review Due Diligence documentation
  • Preparation of collateral descriptions and financing statements
  • Other duties as assigned
