Crown is looking for a Contracts Administrator to work in Rosslyn, VA to handle the government contract process from proposal to close out (Full Cycle). Strong knowledge of the AMS, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), GSA Schedules, contract administration and subcontract administration required.  Knowledge of FAA AMS (Acquisition Management Systems) a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer all aspects of a Contract from proposal to close out (Full Cycle)
  • Prepare proposals and ensure that they comply with all RFP requirements
  • Ensure that our contract execution complies with all of the contract clauses
  • Ensure that our subcontractors and consultants are compliant with our subcontract agreement and prime contract
  • Work with senior management and project managers to ensure compliance with cost and schedule

 Qualifications:

  • 3 – 8 years’ experience in federal government contract and subcontracts administration and management of FAA and NASA contracts
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Legal Discipline

  • Strong Knowledge of AMS, FAR and Commercial Contracts
  • Strong Knowledge of UNANET, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Solid Employment History
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills; strong time management skills
  • Ability to interface with all levels
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Small company work experience preferred
  • Flexibility to wear many hats and adapt well to change
  • Experience in all types of contracts (T&M, CPAF, CPIF, CPFF, FFP) and cost/price analysis
  • Knowledge of SCA, DBA, Walsh Healy, FAR/DFAR and CAS compliant requirements
  • Understand Federal schedule pricing and regulations
  • FAA AMS knowledge/experience a plus
  • Candidates selected may be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements
