The U.S. Naval Academy invites applications for Mathematics/Physics Learning Specialist to begin as early as August 2021 in the Center for Academic Excellence.

As a Mathematics/Physics Learning Specialist in the CAE, the successful candidate will assist students learning mathematics and/or physics by integrating learning strategies and the development of mathematics and/or physics skills into supplemental courses, reviews, and tutoring.  The Mathematics/Physics Learning Specialist provides instruction in courses designed to support students who may experience difficulty with Mathematics or Physics.  The Mathematics/Physics Learning Specialist may also serve as an instructor in the Mathematics and/or Physics Department.  This 10-month, non-tenure track position, is a 3-year contract with possibility of renewal, and will require weekly evening tutoring and/or reviews.
