The Telecom Technician II role supports a broad range in performing the primary administration and support for an Enterprise class Avaya phone systems consisting of:

•Communication Manager (CM) v7.0
•Avaya Aura Messaging (AAM) v7.0
•Avaya Session Border Controller (SBC)
•Avaya System/Session Manager v7.0
•Avaya AES v7.0
•TASKE Call Center Metrics system
•Digital, Analog and VOIP desk phones
•Avaya one-X Communicator
•Avaya one-X Agent softphones in a 24x7 healthcare setting

This position works closely with infrastructure platform and application vendors to ensure systems are secure, reliable, and efficient. This role primarily performs as the 2nd tier operational support in Service Operation processes for all telecommunications processes and escalate to support vendors as needed.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in the field of computer science or information technology is preferred
• 3+ years in depth experience with implementing and supporting Avaya Communication Manager. Versions 5.2.1 and above is preferable
• 1+ years of experience working in the healthcare industry is preferred
Network + or similar certification required OR(willing to obtain within 1 year of hire date)
• ITILv3 Foundations is preferred
• Certification or formal training in one or more technologies including but not limited to Avaya Communication Manager (CM) v7.0, Avaya Aura Messaging (AAM) v7.0, Avaya Session Border Controller (SBC), Avaya System/Session Manager v7.0, Avaya AES v7.0, TASKE Call Center Metrics is preferred
