As the ERSEA specialist, you will:
•Process eligibility applications per systems, procedures and policies established by the agency.
•Make eligibility decisions that meet requirements of Federal Head Start Performance Standards and any local, state and/or agency policies.
•Coordinate recruitment efforts to help ensure ample wait list selection for all sites.
•Support the ERSEA Manager with all assigned tasks related to eligibility, recruitment, enrollment, selection, and attendance policies and procedures, including efficiently and accurately entering all ERSEA related data into Child Plus; and ensure program compliance with Head Start performance standards in the ERSEA area.
•Support the Application, Interview and Enrollment to Entry process of all families by implementing a tracking system for all incoming Enrollment packets.
•Maintain accurate electronic records for ERSEA functions that meet Head Start requirements and performance standards which supports work with the program director and ERSEA Manager to prepare and submit timely reports and tracking regarding ERSEA updates for the Head Start Director, Policy Council and the Governing Board.
•Provide input and solutions to develop and or revise the agency's ERSEA systems, policies and procedures. Work with program managers, administrative staff, family services staff and other staff to provide basic technical assistance and guidance related to ERSEA.

•Bilingual Spanish/English speaker required

•Strong computer literacy, database, spreadsheet, word processing, Internet and e‐mail skills
