ResponsibilitiesResponsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex IT solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address client business problems. Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or off the shelf products. Analyzes and identifies all or part of a company's existing or new peripheral, network, and telecommunications systems requirements, taking into consideration the special technology needs. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites.Working closely with UTSTC Chief Communications officer, serve as content manager and primary POC for UTSTC WebsiteDevelop and maintain a highly interactive, engaging web presence for the center including working with stakeholders across the center to:Consolidate and manage requirementsDevelop and/or edit original contentWork with developers to implement new website requirementsManage website content and updatesAssist with other UTSTC communications products as requiredMaintain UTSTC branding and style throughout QualificationsRequires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.Min bachelors in Communications, IT, or related field5+ years of website development/content management experienceDirect experience managing large projects in the Sponsor OrganizationBroad management consulting skillset such as:Strategic planningOrg designProcess design and documentationGovernanceFacilitationStellar stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong MS office skills, including powerpoint, Excel and VisioAbility to manage complex projects and schedules with multiple objectives and prioritiesAbility to work collaboratively with a broad range of stakeholders across organizational boundaries to accomplish mission goalsDesired:Masters degree in a related field About PerspectaWhat matters to our nation, is what matters to us.
