DCS Corp has several exciting new opportunities for Administrative Assistant positions supporting the Programmatic, Flight Test Engineering, and Administrative Support Program for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL), located at NAS Patuxent River, MD.

Essential Job Functions:

Program/Project Analysts apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives.

Analyzes requirements, status, budget and schedules.

Performs management, technical, or business case analyses.

Collects, completes, organizes and interprets data relating to aircraft/weapon/project acquisition and product programs.

Tracks program/project status and schedules. Applies government instituted processes for documentation, change control management and data management.

Support providing program and project support, such as scheduling of test events, development of rainbow charts and short/long term program schedules and perform updates and maintenance of test schedules.

Coordinate and support program technical reviews and milestone meetings.

Support the development, financial profiles, and other information related to life cycle support during testing.

Support development, review, updates and maintenance of test and evaluation cost estimates.

Support monitoring the availability of resources to maintain test schedule within programmatic cost, schedule, and performance parameters. Contractor shall provide recommendations for the realignment of test resources necessary to facilitate test execution while remaining within test program constraints.

Provide project management support to the T&E IPT members by drafting meeting minutes, managing action items, and performing overall coordination and close-out of T&E IPT meetings.

Support developing and maintaining T&E Government Furnished Property (GFP), Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Government Furnished Information (GFI) lists.

Support developing, updating and maintaining resource plans to support program or project testing.

Support development and maintenance of TEMP Part IV Resource Summary documentation.

Participate in program technical reviews, Deficiency Reviews, System Verifications Reviews, T&E IPT, NAVAIR Technical Assurance Board (NTAB), Operational Test Readiness Reviews or technical interchange meetings as directed.

Support the collection and maintenance of test and certification data. This includes test data, reliability data, and supportability data.

Support development, collection, tracking, and maintenance of metrics in accordance with program or government guidance, or program specific policies to communicate status of test planning, reporting and execution.

Support technical studies, analyses, and planning to develop and refine test verification methods and test verification approaches. Contractor shall participate in technical interchange meetings as a test representative for the development and maintenance of test requirements, derived requirements, and detailed test approaches.

Prepare and review test reports and documentation (e.g., Deficiency Reports, Report of Test Reports, Test Reports, Test Plans and procedures).

Coordinate the entry point system of systems, platform systems, and weapons requiring test and evaluation and/or experimentation that will be evaluated by MSTED.

Support in T&E acquisition coordination, planning, resource utilization, and in defining the design of experiments and tests using an integrated developmental /operational testing concept.

Develop, evaluate and provide input to requirements, contracts and documentation to ensure Supportability Test and Evaluation (ST&E) test program requirements are included.

Develop Supportability Test Plans to ensure Systems (ship, weapons, and aircraft) Logistics products go through the appropriate Test and Evaluation processes. Execute Supportability Test Plans, evaluate collected data, and provide test results and reports.

Analyze, plan, coordinate and provide program/project support for the test program.

Respond to Program Office, NAVAIR Headquarters and other agency data calls/requests with documented information, briefings, meetings and/or guidance concerning ST&E.

Required Skills:

Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Multiple positions from Junior to Senior levels, requiring a minimum of a Bachelor's degree to an additional 10+ years of experience.

Junior level must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within 6-9 months.

Journeyman/Senior positions require an active Secret clearance, at minimum.

Junior:
  • Responsible for assisting more senior positions, and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions

Journeyman:
  • 3 to 10 years of experience
  • Must be able to perform all functional duties independently.

Senior:
  • Over 10 years of experience
  • Typically works on high-visibility or mission critical aspects of a given program and performs all functional duties independently may oversee the efforts of less senior staff and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
