About the Program: Mason's Special Education Program, which is ranked by the U.S. News and World Report in the Top 20 of all such programs nationally (top 5 for online programs in special education), has an Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) Verified Course Sequence offering coursework at the post-graduate certificate and master's levels. Coursework is offered face to face and online. Students can complete the ABA Coursework and a master's degree totally online, or on campus.

In addition to teaching, all faculty affiliated with the ABA Program have some administrative responsibilities related to the coordination of the ABA Program, student supervision/advising, student recruitment, curriculum and program development, online course development and revision, and management of distance education initiatives. Teaching loads may be adjusted to reflect participation in externally funded activities or administrative assignments that go beyond normal service responsibilities.

Required Qualifications: * The program is looking for teaching faculty with professional expertise in applied behavior analysis, particularly in organizational behavior management (OBM); * The position requires teaching a wide variety of ABA courses in locations throughout northern Virginia in Mason's Special Education outreach programs and/or online; * A Doctoral degree and relevant teaching experience are required. Preferred Qualifications: * BCBA-D certification is preferred; * Experience in university teaching and distance education implementation.

Candidates with expertise in areas of applied behavior analysis beyond autism (e.g., OBM, juvenile justice, general education, military and veteran's issues) are strongly encouraged to apply.
