As a Nurse Manager you will:
Manages all employees within the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Laboratories (Cath and EP Labs). Maintains an efficiently operated modality in all aspects of patient care. Communicates all needs and problems to the Executive Director to facilitate resolution. Assists the physicians in performing the procedures, and is knowledgeable and competent in the operation of all aspects of the performance of these procedures. The Invasive Cardiovascular services manager will manage day to day operations for Cath lab/EP and IR. Looking for 3-5 years procedural area management experience.

Desired Competencies:
• Competent in the operation and troubleshooting of all equipment used in the
EP and Cath Lab as well as how to respond in case of emergency.
• Assures that key information valuable to assessment of patient's physical
conditions and medical history is available to staff members. Anticipates
patients' needs and exceeds the expectation.
• Maintains schedule with a flexible attitude to accommodate all customers with
efficiency.
• Oversees management of inventory of required supplies and demonstrates
cost effectiveness in the use of supplies and equipment as indicated by
minimal waste of supplies.
• Participates in interviewing and recommending for hiring new staff members a
according to human resources policies.
• Contributes to the time management of the department by being punctual to
work and on assignments according to hospital standards and holding other
employees to the same standard.
• Works and coordinates collaboratively with other managers to achieve optimal
outcomes for all patients, staff & physician satisfaction, and efficient operation
of all areas.
• Accountable for processes involved in the proper function and maintenance of
medical equipment in the department

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related or related health care profession
• At least five (5) years' Clinical experience interventional cardiology/electrophysiology
• ACLS & BLS required
• MSN preferred

Work Schedule:

Ideally this position will be 5 x 8hr days; however we are open to 4 x 10hr shifts.
