The Human Resources Group aligns policies, procedures, and activities with AARP's mission and strategic priorities. Human Resources does this by partnering with AARP's leaders and employees to assist them in achieving their objectives. We challenge dynamics inhibiting AARP progress and help AARP meet its social and financial objectives.

The primary focus of this position is processing transactions for new employee/contingent labor, data changes for employee/contingent labor and terminations for employee/contingent labor.
  • Serves as primary contact for HR E/MSS transactions as assigned
  • Follows up with managers, employees, and related functions on any missing documentation for employee records, as necessary and/or the completion of HR activity
  • Works with HR Systems staff to ensure data integrity of information stored in PeopleSoft, assists in issue resolution, actively supports testing and other activities associated with the maintenance and upgrade of the system
  • Process new hire, data change and termination transactions for employees
  • Process transactions for new contingent labor including adds, changes and terminations
  • Support recruiters, HR partners and managers with questions about employee/contingent labor transactions

Bachelor's degree and 1+ years experience in an HR role highly preferred. Demonstrated results in completing HR-specific transactions with high quality and providing optimal customer service in the HR environment.
