Summary

About the Position: This is a Senior Contract Integrator (OTA) position. Employee will be assigned to JPEO-CBRND Headquarters.

This position is subject to the NH-IV tier two salary control point established in the JPEO-CBRND Acquisition Demo Business Rules. This control point limits basic pay for this position to a max of $132,552 (GS-15, step 7).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee acquisition planning and contract management functions required to support an Other Transaction Authority (OTA) project.
  • Prepare and maintain current OTA strategic plans. milestone charts and related schedules.
  • Manage program/project requirements to include: program communications that cover briefings to senior executive.
  • Serve as Senior Contract Intergrator, subject matter expert (SME), and facilitator between Government program manager and contracting organizations.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Managing contracts through entire cycle from pre to post award; 2) Leading a team with contracting duties; and 3) Developing innovative contracting strategies, methods, and procedures utilizing Other Transaction Authority (OTA) to meet mission needs. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03 or (GS-13).

  • This is an Army Acquisition Workforce position covered by DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act). Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Level III in Acquisition Career Field Contracting within 24 months of entrance on duty.
  • You will be required to undergo background investigation leading to the successful adjudication of eligibility for a Secret security clearance. Derogatory information developed during the background investigation, such as a criminal history, could render the selectee ineligible for both the security clearance and continued employment in the position, if already appointed.

For example, jobs at the NH-04 broad band level encompass the traditional GS-14 and GS-15 grades.;.
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
