Overtime and monthly bonus opportunities available! * We are currently offering a $1500.00 sign on bonus for applications received between 3/1/21 - 4/15/21* We offer our Associates: * A competitive base rate of $17.00 to $18.00/hour; paid on a bi-weekly basis * Overtime opportunity during peak season * Monthly bonuses (potential to make up to an additional $300 per month!) * Over 3 weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO) may be accrued during the first year * 8 Paid Holidays * 401(k) plan with company match up to 7% * Health, Dental, Vision, & Prescription Coverage * FREE Life Insurance * Tuition reimbursement up to $5250/year * FREE AAA Membership * PAID training * PAID uniforms and tools provided Our Roadside Assistance Battery Sales Technicians are helpful drivers who: * Provide mobile battery services, perform diagnostic tests and recommend solutions including sales of batteries and installations in various types of vehicles. * Provide lock-out, fuel delivery, battery jump starts, and tire change services * Communicate with members effectively to keep them informed and to ensure their safety. * Make sound decisions regarding the safe service of vehicles and to accommodate member needs. * Enter call information accurately into in-truck technology, process payments, handle cash and complete reports as required. * Conduct vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure all are in safe operating condition and all equipment is adequately secured at all times. Do you have what it takes? * Must be at least 23 years old. * Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. * Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record * Ability to pass a physical examination on a bi-annual basis as required by Department of Transportation and/or Company policy. * 3 years of experience in an automotive/mechanical environment, or technical school or a minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales and/or customer service role is preferred. * Successfully complete departmental training courses within 60 days of hire, and future department training as required. (May need to adjust your schedule to attend training). * Communicate effectively in writing, verbally, via email and using assigned technology such as GPS (Global Positioning Systems). * Operate passenger vehicles and light-medium duty trucks (both manual and automatic transmissions) while primarily working from a service vehicle. * Lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds; bend, kneel and balance to change tires, inspect and to push vehicles; and use hand tools to provide service. Exposed to noise from traffic and two way radios on a daily basis. * Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening.
