General Summary of Position: Installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing, fire protection and medical gas systems throughout the Hospital. # Education: High school or trade/vocational school graduate, or equivalent.# Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and interpret equipment manuals, written specifications, meters and gauges, models/graphic illustrations such as: layout diagrams, blueprints, mechanical and architectural drawings, work sketches and schematic drawings as well as written and oral instructions. # Experience:# Three years# experience as a plumber is required. Certification/Registration/Licensure Must hold or qualify for a journeyman plumbing license in Maryland/DC or Virginia.# Certification as a Medical Gas System Installer is required.#
