Fiscal Training Assistant

The George Mason University Fiscal Service's department is seeking a talented Fiscal Training Assistant to provide training support. This includes providing a high level of customer service to all constituents, assisting with end-to-end training management, responding to emails and training questions, completing updates for new process/procedures across all mediums, and facilitating meetings by taking notes, monitoring chat, and responding to technical issues. Responsibilities: * Perform a review of Fiscal website information to ensure that process and procedures are accurate; * Participate in scheduled meetings, send meeting notes/updates, facilitate 'chat' and other interactions, help solve technical issues for participants; * Assist with project management and end-to-end training management (scheduling, follow-up, documentation, recording attendance, etc.); * Complete updates for new processes and procedures across all fiscal training materials (manuals, quick guides, webpages, etc.); * Monitor incoming emails, answer questions, direct users to direct links and webpages for additional assistance. Close the communication loop.

Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of skills and experience; * Writing experience in a fiscal or business environment.

Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in fiscal operations at a public college or university or similar fiscal environment; * Teaching or similar experience in a training environment; * Website management experience; * Use of Ellucian Banner Finance and eVA preferred.
