Job Summary/Company:

Sparks Group in collaboration with a non-profit client, is searching for a motivated Program Manager. The Manager will provide scientific, technical and programmatic support to the organization. They will be responsible for the development and oversight of contracts, sub-awards, budgets and manage procurement. They will collaborate with various federal agencies, sponsors, foreign government entities, academic institutions and non-governmental entities. Responsibilities:
  • Reviewed research programs to ensure adherence with approved project plan, compliance to organization's operating procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Identify administrative and operational challenges; develop project budget and timeline and execute accordingly
  • Detect project risks and address with mitigation plan and alternative solutions
  • Promote good communication between teams and departments; foster a productive team culture to support and implement program objectives
  • Participate in the development and management of grant proposals, awards and contracts
  • Provide Quality Assurance support and management level representation during audits and inspections
  • Oversee and contribute to development of key documents such as program presentations and reports; prepare and edit of manuscripts if required
  • Establish financial management systems
  • Completes other responsibilities as required

Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of program and project management experience; 2+ years of focused international clinical research project management experience
  • Prior experience in clinical research is highly desired
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications; intermediate to advance Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas and recommendations to leadership
  • Solid relationship building skills with the ability to interact and support the staff and management effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills: ability to prioritize multiple projects and work in a fast-paced challenging environment
