Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Lead Anesthesia Tech for our Operating Room who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Lead Anesthesia Tech, you will perform a variety of anesthesia preparations and procedures in the Operating Room setting and in remote anesthetizing locations. You will support the anesthesia team by preparing, maintaining, and cleaning equipment used during a surgical procedure which involves anesthesia. You will troubleshoot any anesthesia equipment failures and Take into consideration the age and development needs of each patient, sets up equipment, monitoring, and rapid blood delivery devices, for intra-operative use. Readies anesthetizing location and anesthesia equipment for subsequent use at the end of each case.

Qualifications include:
• High school diploma or GED
• CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Completion of Anesthesia Technician Program Required
• BLS Required from AHA (American Heart Association
• Previous experience preferred but not required
