The Project Associate will coordinate projects as needed in conjunction with Children's National Pediatricians & Associates (CNPA) Leadership . Coordinate programmatic services leading to the support of programs, and will be required to provide general office administration support. Manage administrative tasks, coordinate program needs on behalf of the CNPA Support Team and CNPA practices as needed. Must work and think independently, be self-motivated and be able to integrate activities with those of the larger team. The individual will be involved in activities to improve the C N PA practices' health care quality at the community, practice and provider levels. S/he will be responsible to work directly with the CNPA practices and providers across C N PA. S/he will also play a major role in other projects as they arise.

Required Skills/Knowledge
Demonstrated ability to simultaneously perform multiple assignments.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Strong experience in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Understanding of databases.
Solid writing, editing, and analytic skills.
Ability to adhere to deadlines.
Prior research experience.
Understand the concept of time management and supervised independence.
Interface with faculty , trainees, and employees on a professional level.
Ability to grow with software innovations, an interest in innovative publishing, ability to provide technological solutions, and a willingness to provide assistance when necessary.

Functional Accountabilities

Project Management
1. May be required at times to manage several high-level and time-sensitive projects concomitantly requiring excellent time management ability.
2. Provide a resource environment for faculty, trainees and other employees for academic pursuits through research and by providing materials which assist faculty and staff in academic endeavors.
3. Plan, promote, execute, complete, and debrief projects in consultation with the Manager to maintain a sense of ownership and pride.
4. Attend project meetings when appropriate.
5. Upon request, the project associate will provide assistance to projects which are newly created for the office.

Administrative Support
1. Assist program director with the management of office activities associated with program.
2. May interact with web developer on maintenance of web based information sharing and informatics; may assist with external website maintenance and upkeep.
3. Be required to perform duties which ensure successful and comprehensive completion of multifunctional projects; these may include any number of tasks which are above and beyond simple office management.
4. Perform a variety of administrative duties which include answer phones, respond to general email inquiries, copy, fax, distribute mail, protect office records, file, and other duties.
5. Prepare documents , purchase supplies and office equipment.
6. Maintain familiarity with accounting procedures.

Customer Relations
1. Serve as a bridge between other professionals and CRI/CNMC faculty and staff.
2. Maintain a friendly, solution oriented, creative attitude, especially in dealing with difficult personalities.
3. Interface with others to routinely coordinate and facilitate solutions with internal and external stakeholders.

1. Assist Division staff with scheduling of meetings and conference room logistics as needed.
2. Maintain Executive Director's calendar , schedules and appointments without prior approval based on knowledge of manager 's responsibilities and issues of importance.
