Overview: Beacon Street is seeking a dynamic Assistant General Counsel to join its growing and close-knit Legal department. This position reports to the General Counsel and provides strategic, business, and legal support on a broad range of corporate governance, securities law, M&A and various other matters. The Assistant General Counsel will assist the General Counsel in developing a best-in-class corporate and securities function that can ultimately operate in a public company setting. The Assistant General Counsel will help Beacon Street achieve strategic goals and manage legal risk and will be directly involved in advising the Company on complex and challenging issues. Experience: Minimum of 5 - 8 years of relevant in-house counsel experience in corporate securities and governance at a public company or at a highly reputable law firm with a focus on same. Compensation: Competitive compensation package. Bar: Active member in good standing of a US state bar (and eligible to register in Maryland as in-house counsel).
