Job Requirements: IT Depot LLC and Partners is seeking a systems or software engineer with AWS experience who is excited about solving national security related data problems. Experience working with AWS GovCloud and/or C2S environments Intermediate to expert working knowledge of at least 1-2 AWS services Experience automating tasks in Bash, sh, Python, or another scripting language Familiarity working in environments with multiple levels of firewalls, routing, and network ACLs Experience with patching servers/virtual machines Familiarity with CI/CD (Jenkins/Git) and container technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) Experience troubleshooting complex systems (network, routing, firewall, SSH/RDP remote access, SSL, operating systems) Ability to quickly learn new technologies and apply them to solve complex problems Install, configure, operate, and maintain integrated systems to support enterprise operations Participate in the architecture development and design of AWS cloud migrations Manage Amazon Web Service Cloud environments leveraging services such as VPC, EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Config, IAM, etc. Perform daily environment updates and maintenance functions Respond to Tier 3 and Tier 4 trouble tickets and requests Respond to management system alerts Deploy monthly security patches and updates Research, architect, develop, and/or modify enterprise-wide systems and/or applications software including DevOps, security, and data analytic solutions. Plan system and development deployment as well as meeting software compliance standards with a particular focus involving integrations and data analytic solutions. Experience in DevOps using industry standards and open source resources Requirements Clearance: Active Top-Secret clearance Minimum Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of education. Minimum Experience Required: 3+ years experience working with AWS infrastructure AWS Certified, AWS Architect Associates, Development Certified 5+ years experience supporting Linux/Unix systems in an enterprise production environment 5+ years of Linux experience of RedHat, CentOS, Scientific Linux or similar Linux/Unix systems 5+ years of experience with system administrative scripting. (bash, Python, etc) Experience implementing security best practices in production environments Support mission-focused infrastructure to ensure performance and availability of system and environment Bachelor's degree in related field preferred; 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of education. Experience with Cloud infrastructure setup Demonstrated ability to lead solution design sessions. Ability to teach and mentor others. Experience with Atalassian suite of tools is a plus. Experience with Agile and SAFe Methodologies is a plus. Good understanding of cloud security. Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, operating systems and networking This position requires the candidate to have an ACTIVE Top Secret clearance. The candidate must also be able to obtain and maintain SCI access within 6 months of hire date.
