Managed the financial administration of ProFunds exchange traded funds and mutual fund complex. Responsible for oversight of various financial vendors, including public accountants, fund accountants, financial administrators, and tax accountants. Provide expertise in mutual fund taxation, security regulation, financial reporting, income and excise tax issues. Involved with new product development, including 40 Act exchange-traded funds, and 33 Act publicly traded partnerships. Essential Job Functions[1]: Management of processes of preparing the financial statements for PST II, ProShares, ProFunds, and Access One. This includes N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN, 10-Q, 10-K, PFS, PQR, Monthly CPO statements Management of the Tax Reporting for PST II, ProShares, Cayman Subsidiaries, ProFunds, and Access One, including RIC Income and Excise tax returns, PST II partnership returns and K-1s. Act as internal expert on tax compliance matters. Responsible for Tax Efficiency of the 40 Act mutual fund, especially the ETFs Prepare financial information for quarterly Trustees meeting in formats requested by the Board of Trustees, including Intermediary Threshold Analysis. Act as Treasurer and Principal Financial Officer for the PST II, a 33 Act registered commodity Act as on Officer or Director for offshore wholly owned subsidiaries. Manage the periodic distributions annual, quarterly, monthly, and daily paying funds, for excise tax, income tax, Off Shore repatriation and income Dividends purposes. Responsible for certain sections of the N-1A and S-1/3 registration statements including fee tables, break-even analysis and act as internal expert for tax disclosures and as requested. Act as a resource for Fund Administrators for more in-depth information, problem solving, and evaluating information. Resolve high-priority, complex issues/problems filtered up from the Fund Administrators. Responsible for special projects assigned by management in relation to the Funds. Responsible for day to day management, goal setting, and ongoing development of staff reporting to this role. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Position Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required. Masters Degree and CPA strongly preferred. Ten or more years' experience in fund administration coupled with public accounting experience. Experience within a mutual fund company. Five or more years management experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience with fund administration, vendor management and oversight, fund taxes, Pricing, accounting, corporate actions, etc. Experience with exchange traded funds preferred. Experienced with NFA registered commodity pools. A customer-service attitude towards responsibilities and well-developed communications and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments. Ability to work in a time sensitive environment. Strong attention to detail. Strong written and oral communication skills. Good organizational skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word and Access. Ability to manage, set goals and develop staff. Ability to prioritize workload. Ability to work through complex problems using past experience and knowledge of customers' requirements.
