The Talent Partner acts as a strategic partner, consultant, and coach to dedicated client groups on a wide range of issues including: talent management, organizational design, organizational and employee development, and project and change management. The role reports to the Head of Talent, SVP. Responsibilities: Serve as a Talent Partner to leaders and employees across assigned client groups and provide subject-matter expertise on key organizational and talent management issues, including talent planning, employee engagement, development and career progression, and performance management and feedback with the goal of building client capability and achieving business results. Facilitate the implementation and improvement of Talent practices and programs (eg merit and promotion, workforce planning, performance management, career pathing and development, etc.) across assigned client groups. Use employee data to gain insights and make recommendations regarding employee engagement and talent programs. Diagnose issues, uncover root causes, and contributing factors in order to develop recommendations. Actively partner with client leaders and functional partners to implement solutions. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning. Guide and coach managers on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex employee relations issues (eg, performance management, rewards, mutual separations, conflict management, etc) Collaborate with client leadership in evaluating the performance of individual team members and provide guidance regarding on-boarding and development. Identify training needs for business units and manager coaching needs. Participates in facilitation or content development of training programs to ensure success. Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Conduct employee relations investigations as needed. Understand and integrate diversity and inclusion strategies into plans, programs, and practices to ensure an inclusive approach in the workplace. Develop and drive people engagement strategies that feed a culture where all employees are respected and valued. Assist with the communication and rollout of updated or new people programs and policies. Utilize HRIS system to maintain employee data and produce reports Partner with the benefits team to support employee leave and transition back to work Utilize HRIS system to maintain employee data and produce reports Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of 5 years of forward-thinking experience in Human Resources Ability to build and trust-based relationships with a wide variety of individuals across diverse client groups Demonstrated advising and coaching skills with both leaders and individual contributors Proven ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive business results Strong business insight and ability to understand the key drivers and goals of business Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict and resolve sensitive situations Excellent facilitation skills; able to effectively lead and facilitate meetings, trainings, and discussions Demonstrated ability to stay objective and exercise sound judgment in complex situations while maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion Respectful; considerate and thoughtful in interactions with others Strong analytical and problem solving skills Proactive nature and solutions oriented.
