RESPONSIBILITIES: Bring fresh ideas and innovation to a constantly evolving landscape of opportunity Evangelize adoption of development best practices like agile and lean methodologies, DevOps, continuous delivery, and test automation Translate complex business and functional requirements into technical designs Ensure platform delivery is of a high quality with every release, raising the bar for quality, resiliency, performance, and testability for each component that you work on Translate complex business and functional requirements into simple technical designs Collaborate and build relationships with architects, development teams, operations partners, and internal business stakeholders Ensure the stability and reliability of our production platforms QUALIFICATIONS: Transformational software engineer management experience Strong fundamental understanding of data structures Experience with Git based workflows, automated delivery pipelines, agile delivery, and test-driven development Demonstrable passion for technology (eg personal projects, open-source involvement) Familiarity with a variety of programming styles (eg OO, functional), and knowledge of software design patterns and machine learning is a strong plus Experience with API and integration platforms (eg MuleSoft, APIgee) is a strong plus Experience with Python BA/BS degree in computer science, related field, or equivalent practical experience is required Enthusiasm for continuous learning is a must Experience with API and integration platforms (eg MuleSoft, APIgee) is a strong plus COMPETENCIES: Enthusiastic embrace of DevOps culture and collaborative software engineering Proven ability to act in a consultative manner with technology and business partners Passionate about all aspects of software engineering ? performance, maintainability, testability, elasticity, and resiliency.
