Who we are looking forSmartronix NAVAIR Boundary Team is seeking a Senior Network Administrator to support network and systems engineering efforts. A successful candidate will have experience working with network infrastructure devices and protocols, and a proven ability to design, deploy, and maintain solutions supporting high-availability network infrastructures. Candidates must be highly motivated and will be required to respond to and provide resolutions to problems on a timely basis. This position involves the planning, configuring, managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting of a variety of network systems. This position requires participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation and off-hours maintenance windows. Responsibilities of the Senior Network Administrator will include: Monitor network performance and ensure network availability and reliability Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure Use network monitoring tools to identify and respond to network related problems Creating and updating network diagrams Required Skills and Experience: Clearance Required: Active DoD Secret Clearance Security+ Certification 5+ years' experience with Cisco Catalyst configuration and support 5+ years' experience with Cisco Nexus configuration and support 5+ years' experience with Cisco Firepower configuration and support 5+ years' experience with F5 BIG-IP configuration and support 5+ years of experience with IP networking design 5+ of experience with virtual server environments Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred Experience with Unix a plus Experience with BIND a plus Experience with DoD networks is a plus Proven skills in routing, switching, firewalls Cisco CCNA preferred Smartronix is committed to hiring and retaining a diverse workforce.
