Through training, teamwork, and exposure to challenging technical work, let Leidos show how to accelerate your career path.The Leidos Innovations Center has an exciting opening for you, our next Software Configuration Management Engineer, to play a key role with the integration and deployment of software for the DOMEX Data Discovery Platform (D3P) in Bethesda, MD or Reston, VA. The DOMEX Data Discovery Platform (D3P) program is a next generation machine learning pipeline platform that will provide cutting edge data enrichment, triage, and analytics capabilities to Defense and Intelligence Community members. Our team includes highly skilled systems engineers, software and data engineers, and data scientists.Working closely with the customer and project team members, you will have the following responsibilities: * Maintain the Software CM Repository to support continuous integration and deployment of software builds.* Maintain and support the Atlassian Tool Suite, including setting up new projects and workflows to support Agile development.* Maintain a Configuration Management Plan.* Maintain a Quality Control Plan.* Perform baseline audits to ensure compliance with the Configuration Management Plan.* Coordinate with DevOps to maintain configuration and versioning for all deployed AWS instances and infrastructure planning.* Coordinate with Product Managers on release planning and execution.* Prepare/inspect deployment documentation packages (CDRLs) to include release notes and user material.* Maintain and update the software products baseline for the Agile teams, including licenses and renewals, and coordinate with the PMO on renewing licenses.This is you:* Bachelor's degree in a related technical field and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 2 years of prior relevant experience* Must have a Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph security clearance* At least 5 years of experience in Configuration Management* Experience with Agile practices* Experience with configuration management tools such as Git or Subversion* Strong verbal and written communication skills* Experience with root-cause analysis, process improvement and process monitoring* Experience with creating, tracking and monitoring defects* Ability to successfully interact with various stakeholders* Ability to work in a team and also a self-starter who can work on their ownYou will wow us even more if you have these skills:* SAFe Certification or experience working in SAFe environment* Experience with JIRA and Confluence* Experience with DevOps practices including continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) and understanding of configuration management aspect of CI/CD* Security+ certification* Experience as DTO (Data Transfer officer)* Experience as RMC (Removable Media Custodian)Leidos is a Fortune 500(R) information technology, engineering, and science solutions and services leader working to solve the world's toughest challenges in the defense, intelligence, homeland security, civil, and health markets.
