The Senior Financial Analyst consultant will be the primary point of contact for all financial issues, including project spending, planning, forecasting and annual budgeting. You will need to follow public reporting requirements in order to perform analysis of the operating results and financial performance of core business segments, as well as provide decision-making support for future company investments. Herndon, Virginia will be the home base of this Senior Financial Analyst.Key responsibilities- Draft quarterly and monthly management reporting - evaluating financial results, summarizing key trends, analyzing current and future business risks, and flagging critical updates to senior leadership- Design and build financial models (primarily in Excel with data pulled from multiple source systems) to support business decisions, including historical data and projected results based on assessment of trends.
