Digital Content Developer, Brand Immersion

Digital Content Developer, Brand Immersion-Richmond, VA

Capital One's Brand Immersion team is looking for a Digital Content Developer with graphic design and digital content creation experience. In this role you'll work directly with a nimble content development team to create a consistent stream of bespoke digital content in support of Capital One's brand management system, helping to evangelize it across our internal associate audience. As part of the Enterprise Brand Solutions team, you'll empower and inspire all associates throughout the company to play an active role in building a unified brand.

We're looking for a tech savvy candidate with visual design skills who can take their designs from visual concepts to real-life digital content (web pages, videos, etc.). The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks while working closely with a writer and marketing manager in a fast-paced environment, under time pressure. This candidate should be able to showcase previous experience via a portfolio or reel demonstrating design skills and/or digital content capabilities.

  • The ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet aggressive deadlines

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with marketing manager and copywriter to bring compelling ideas and communications to life-this includes developing:
    • Bespoke visual assets and brand immersive content
    • Webpage layouts
    • Digital newsletters
    • Online banners
    • Videos
  • Managing and maintaining all digital assets within our Digital Asset Management system
  • Publishing content within our custom CMS and Email platforms
  • Developing content proposals, supported by rapid prototyping, to pitch and drive new ideas and innovations


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or Military Experience
  • At least 2 years experience with a design software(Adobe Creative Cloud)

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of professional experience tied to graphic design and digital content development with cross-functional teams in a client-side brand department or advertising agency environment
  • Proven experience working with websites and content management systems
  • Working knowledge of animation, photo production, post production, lighting, composition, color quality, and aesthetics preferred, but not required
