We support the Company by analyzing applicable laws and regulations to ensure project success, pursuing credits and incentives that enhance the bottom line, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.The Tax team is part of Clark's Finance organization which is integral to the company's success. Executive and Operations teams rely on Finance to ensure we exceed client expectations and differentiate Clark in the marketplace. We partner across the organization to ensure risks are mitigated and planning ideas are implemented that maximize shareholder value.Initially, you will see how tax influences financial decision-making. This position can be rotational after 1-2 years with the candidate moving into other Finance roles such as Financial Reporting, Financial Planning, and Analysis, Cost Engineering, or Internal Audit. You can also stay in Tax and further career growth by developing subject matter expertise.Primary Duties:Assist with analyzing financial data and calculate GAAP/Tax Differences. Work with our Financial Reporting and Analysis team to obtain accurate financial information and develop tax projections of taxable income.Assist managers with the research tax credit initiative such as helping identify qualifying projects and internal subject matter experts. Analyze data and develop reports for managers and directors.Support the Accounting team quarterly and year-end close process. Assist with fixed asset reporting for tax purposes.Assist with state and local tax compliance matters such as preparing supporting income tax schedules and e-filing returns, calculating estimated quarterly payments, and remitting amounts electronically.Assist tax department as the company transitions to the latest version of SAP, S4 HANA.Position Requirements:BA or MS Degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited universityAt least 3.0 GPA in major and overallIntermediate to Advanced Excel, Microsoft OfficeRelevant work experience a plus.CPA candidate a plus.Candidate Attributes:Curious, is not afraid to ask questionsDemonstrates initiative and can learn quicklyCollaborative and can handle multiple assignmentsAn interest in the Construction and Real Estate industries#LI-LG1-CK#GDEqual Opportunity Employer:Clark Construction Group, LLC, (subsidiaries and affiliates) is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
