Job Description Your Impact: As an Accountant, you will be part of a team tasked with supplying finance, acquisition, and human resource services, providing consistent and exceptional support to the customer's various offices and officers. Your work ensures that the right resources and support get to where they need to be when they need to be there, guaranteeing continued mission success for the customer and its members! What you will be doing: Working independently and as part of a team to review, reconcile and process hundreds of financial statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.Providing superior accounting advice to the various components which maintain proprietaries. Identify and highlight ostensible transactions with the assistance of the owning component management. Preparing various vouchers that affect the general ledger balances, ensuring all documentation is completed for review, either manually or electronically. Must Haves: Must possess an ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph; sponsorship is not available at this time.Experience utilizing GAAP and commercial accounting and commercial accounting financial software such as Peachtree and/or QuickBooks.Experience converting foreign financial trial balances into US dollars, applying GAAP.
