Senior Financial Business Intelligence Analyst (Finance) Who you are: The ideal candidate for this position will be a subject matter expert in using Tableau to represent financial results. This role will have experience building financial dashboards from scratch, as well as paring financial and operational data for meaningful KPIs. Resourceful and innovative: you are not afraid to dive into the data or research business operational context to design the best visualizations to support financial insights. As a key member of a highly collaborative Finance team, you thrive in sharing insights, knowledge, and best practices. What you will be responsible for: 85%: This position will play a critical role to develop, manage, and automate technical reporting that combines financial and operational metrics for added insights for variance/trend analysis and forecasting. Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting leveraging Tableau and SQL. Utilize SQL to write queries by joining tables, enhancing functions and views Automate existing reporting through Tableau for efficiency & to enhance data accuracy Enhance and develop new Tableau dashboards for various audiences (internal finance and accounting, operational program managers, and executives) Review analyses to identify risks and opportunities; communicate feedback/insights with key stakeholders Develop KPIs and metrics to analyze results and forecast future performance Propose alternate views and data visualization for added impact and value 15%: The role will be responsible for the administration of the F Department's financial reporting & analytics systems (Planful, Tableau). Administer user accounts, user security, and serve as the financial data administrator and liaison with ACR IT With ACR IT Team, create workflows for data integration You possess the following qualifications: The Senior Financial Business Intelligence Analyst will be the Tableau expert for the Finance Team and must have a strong grasp of finance & accounting concepts, financial reporting best practices, as well as strong technical skills (Tableau, SQL, data visualization, data management). The right person for the role will have experience in developing KPIs and will understand the key concepts of financial and operational drivers. The position will not manage people; however, will provide coaching and training to the team for Tableau as needed. Systems/Technical: Bachelor's Degree in IT/Finance, or relevant field, required 5-7 years/Advanced computer literacy required (SQL, Tableau, AWS Data Warehouse) Expert Excel experience Familiarity with ERPs, budgeting/reporting tools, AMS/CMS, and HRIS systems. ACR's current suite includes: MS Dynamics GP, Planful, SalesForce/Nimble, and Ultipro. Proven success in automating processes Proven KPI development and dashboard visualization skills Finance: 5-7 years supporting Finance and Accounting functions Understanding of basic accounting principles Experience pairing operational data with financial results Competencies: Strong analytical skills, work ethic, independence, & problem-solving ability Strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy Excellent communication skills Overall positive attitude & collaborative, team player Work Environment We're a remote-friendly team.
