Responsibilities and career development The Marketing Manager provides leadership for the execution of best-in-class strategic marketing campaigns and other initiatives to support the growth of the firm. Serving as a trusted marketing advisor, this individual works with firm leaders to provide the tools, creativity and deliverables needed to support successful business development efforts. The Marketing Manager has the ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse and highly productive team. Ambitious, innovative and driven by data, the Marketing Manager brings new ideas to the table, monitors marketing metrics and always delivers high quality work products. This position reports to the Chief Marketing Officer. For those focused on career development, GRF offers on-the-job learning experiences as well as formal development programs held internally and externally.Duties: Planning and Strategy. Work closely with the CMO to plan and execute multichannel B2B marketing campaigns aligned with the firm's strategic plan for growth and measure results. New Business Capture. Play the lead role in the process of responding to new business opportunities. Perform research and analysis on new business targets and geographic markets. Help engagement teams develop marketing collateral and prepare for best and final interviews. Proposal Management. Direct marketing team members to develop winning new business proposals and meet all proposal deadlines. Manage workload calendar and track progress and results. Handle proposals directly as needed. Messaging and Strategy. Deliver consistent brand messaging and strategic internal and external communications using traditional and digital marketing processes and platforms. Branding and Thought Leadership. Serve as an internal and external brand ambassador. Write and edit thought leadership pieces independently and with subject matter experts. Develop new marketing collateral as needed. Information Management. Direct the work of the team to ensure the collection, organization and ongoing management of data assets. Measurement & Verification. Provide regular reporting (data and key metrics) regarding campaigns, social media, website lead generation, proposal win/loss rates and cross selling. Team Building. Develop mutually beneficial relationships within the team and across the firm. Build relationships with outside vendors and industry partners. Requirements 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing. Experience working in professional services is a plus. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, ideally in marketing, communications or journalism. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Experience with video is highly desired. Strong copywriting, editing, and graphic design/layout skills. Understands the importance of appropriate tone and voice, messaging, and attention to grammar. Experience managing and executing integrated B2B marketing campaigns that include social media. Skills and experience across multiple channels including email, online marketing, events/tradeshows, social media and other channels. Proven record of accomplishment in developing new business proposals. Excellent organizational, analytical and project management skills with the ability to work in an atmosphere of multiple projects, shifting priorities, and deadlines. Experience with advanced analytics and using campaign data and sales data to determine priorities and measure effectiveness. Strategic thinker and problem solver. Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through skills. Strong communications skills and executive presence necessary to interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority. Ability to think creatively and promote innovation within the firm. Demonstrated track record working in CRM systems. Ability to lead teams, manage workloads and mentor individual team members.
