We celebrate our hard-won accomplishments, but we don't cheat ourselves out of learning from our missteps.Job Summary:The Principal Segment Marketing Manager will lead the development of a go-to-market strategy for Surescripts in one or more of the following markets: PBM, Health Plan, Life Sciences, Pharmacy Technology Vendors, Pharmacy, Health Systems, Health Technology Vendors and other related markets. They will develop clear segment value propositions based on our product strategy and portfolio position, to drive framed marketing plans and priorities. They will further provide guidance to support the design, development and implementation of marketing programs, brand positioning and communication initiatives designed to advance overall company goals related to targeted markets.Responsibilities:Develop marketing strategy to drive awareness and achieve corporate growth goals and engagement with customers and partners for adoption and utilization in designated segments. Includes the identification and execution of tactics needed to drive engagement associated with lead generation, customer activation, adoption, and retention.Evaluate customer needs, market drivers/barriers and segment business challenges to drive positioning, buyers' journey, and overall go-to-market strategies.Collaborate with product marketing to develop relevant partner marketing tools and engage with Channel Marketing Manager to advance channel partner marketing activities.Collaborate cross-functionally (with product marketing, customer group and content teams) to develop and deliver competitive claims and compelling solution messaging aligned with growth goals and the addressing of customer challenges.Execute strategic marketing campaigns and track their progress (ie lead generation) using automation programs. Tracking supports ongoing evaluation of campaigns for fine tuning for improved outcomes.Lead strategic development and delivery of segment-targeting industry and digital events to drive strong brand presence and engagement.Partner with customer group stakeholders on key strategic customer engagements to help assure alignment with segment positioning.Manage the review process for segment related communication/marketing initiatives to help assure internal alignment with communication strategy and positioning across key stakeholders and channelsIdentify, evaluate, and execute relevant industry advertising and partnership opportunities to achieve brand awareness and thought leadership.Support construction and management of the annual marketing budget.Qualifications: Basic Requirements:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience7+ years of marketing or equivalent experience5+ years of b-to-b marketing experience3+ years of experience working within channel marketing and/or supporting partners.Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns using a full range of marketing disciplines, including but not limited to digital marketing, social media, interactive media, video, advertising, tradeshows/events, direct marketing, press relations, sales training and support, and collateral creationExperience working with external partners to plan and execute marketing campaignsExperience communicating with and influencing people at all levels of the organizationProduct launch and brand positioning experienceStrong analytical skills and business judgment, with the ability to discern market requirements from market preferencesHigh proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)Preferred Qualifications:Master's degree/MBAExperience in health care (B2B product or Consumer), health information technology, and/or network technology marketingExperience in pharmacy, specialty pharmacy and specialty HUBs market segmentsWorking knowledge of marketing automation and/or email marketing technology, such as Eloqua, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot, Exact Target, etc.Experience with management and administration of marketing elements within SalesForce.com (CRM)Experience with project management programs, such as Basecamp, JIRA, etc.Experience with webinar platforms, such as ON24, GoToWebinar, etc.Copywriting and/or editing experiencePhysical and Mental Requirements While performing duties of this job, an employee may be required to perform any, or all of the following: attend meetings in and out of the office, travel (sometimes extensively), communicate effectively (both orally and in writing), and be able to effectively use computers and other electronic and standard office equipment with, or without, a reasonable accommodation.
