Systems Administrator Linux Candidate must have a TS/SCI security clearance and be willing to work in Colorado Springs, CO. Program Description: Our client is prime on a program that provides cyber defense and engineering to the United States Space Force (USSF) at Schriever AFB, Colorado in support of the 50th Space Wing. Day to Day Responsibilities: The admin will make recommendations on new solutions to improve cyber defense and IT performance issues with legacy assigned Government IT systems. The admin will deploy improved DCO capabilities, including new user interfaces/dashboards to minimize training time and improve responsiveness to threats and anomalies. The duties include the maintenance and troubleshooting of Linux systems. The duties will include administering and managing cyber defense tools suites (for example, Host Base Security Suite, SIEM and IDS/IPS). They will develop and update SOPs for cyber defense systems. Other duties include developing requirements with supported SPOs in order to present an optimized, data-centric, and layered cyber defense approach, which facilitates continuous DCO monitoring, active defense, and incident response on all supported systems.
