BlueAlly Services is seeking an experienced "SQL Server Database Administrator" to work under a contract with one of our largest travel client in Bellevue WA. Description of the required work, including: Responsible for all phases of database administration like Installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining SQL and NoSQL databases on Production, Preproduction, Lab and Data Warehouse environments, with emphasis on performance troubleshooting, analytical problem solving and business customer support for internet travel service company. Responsible for request handling on escalation issues and working on request queue towards its resolution based on defined service level agreements. Specifically, support a 24x7 mission critical OLTP (Online Transaction Processing) e-commerce SQL Server and NoSQL environment with On-call troubleshooting Documenting the environment changes, upgrades and publishing to team and planning for configuration changes and future workloads and system resources Top desired 3 skill sets MSSQL server 2008 /2014/2016 Windows 2008 -20016 Thorough understanding of database mirroring and transaction log shipping. Experience in a 24x7, high traffic OLTP environment Demonstrated ability to solve complex database administration problems Experience with database transactional replication Experience with Windows 2008 clustering Experience in administrating/configuring databases in a Windows 2008/2016 clustered environment Ability to work with database developers and engineers to analyze and resolve database performance issues Programs/Tools that will be used on the assignment (if any) SCCM / PowerShell /python Previous experience required/preferred 2-3 Yrs of Experience Examples of work you will like to see in addition to the resume.
