Position Overview:

The Non-Mortgage Investments Accounting team within Freddie Mac's Investments and Capital Markets (I&CM) CFO department is seeking a Financial Controller Professional for the monthly and quarterly financial close cycle execution and financial result analysis for Non-Mortgage related asset transactions. The candidate should also be open minded and be adaptable to changes within the organization, as well as their own team!

Our Impact:

The I&CM CFO department is responsible for financial accounting and reporting, portfolio risk and profitability analysis, pricing and valuation activities, and financial planning & analysis for Freddie Mac's Capital Markets segment. The candidate will perform accounting close cycle execution, and financial results analysis for securities in the I&CM Non-Mortgage Investments Portfolio.

Your Impact:

In this role, you will play a part supporting the financial close for the I&CM CFO department. As a member of the Non-Mortgage Investments Accounting team, you will be responsible for the accounting and analysis related to the Treasury & Repurchasing Agreements, as well as a variety of other Non-Mortgage related assets.


  • 2-4 years of accounting or related professional work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Intermediate MS Excel and Word Skills
  • Strong time management skills to manage one's own time, competing priorities and multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Flexibility to tackle new or additional assignments and adapt to changes in the current processes or environment
  • Must be a phenomenal teammate (but also be able to work independently), proactive and detail oriented
  • Proven interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with continuous change and short deadlines
