Lead SiteCore Developer position at Manassas, VA Overview Job Title: Lead Application Engineer (Sitecore) Duration: 6 months (Contract to hire) Responsibilities: . Responsible for maintaining and supporting, on an ongoing basis, the eCommerce Cloud ecosystem and its integrations to the ERP and third-party applications. . Working as part of the development team on multiple eCommerce and multi-channel applications and integrations with third-party solutions. . Proving production support on ATCC eCommerce sites, with after-hours production support where necessary. . Align closely with Business teams, internal IT (Delivery team and Functional Solution Architects), and design technology solutions to meet business needs. . Lead technical discovery & definition workshops, defining scope, documenting requirements, and designs. . Oversee technical solutions are delivered by the current functional requirements, that meet business requirements under both company and industry best practices. . Required to be hands-on with code, to develop POCs, or help IT teams and SI partners with complex coding tasks. . Identifying and escalating areas for technical improvement of Sitecore to the overall knowledge base and expertise of the community. . Works closely with internal Information Technology System Leads & Business Systems Analyst. Qualifications: Education and Experience: . Bachelor's degree and 8 or more years' experience or equivalent experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: . Working Experience with Sitecore 9x CMS development and maintenance. . Working experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure. . Knowledge of Coveo and Google Analytics (a plus, but not required). . Knowledge Insight InSite Commerce highly preferred . Strong programming skills in building and maintaining eCommerce platforms and integrations. . Strong understanding of eCommerce concepts with the ability to understand business requirements and functional specifications and translate into Sitecore technical architecture. . 8+ years' experience in software development in Azure DevOps or Jira/Confluence. . 5 years' experience working directly on an eCommerce platform and building and maintaining API integrations (SOAP, REST, JSON). . Working experience with OAuth 2.0 for Server-side apps. . Ability to resolve technical problems related to Sitecore applications and related integration and for the entire ecosystem. . Hands-on with code reviews, ability to fix issues, and code as needed. . Experience in working with offshore teams. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
