We are looking for a Sr. Principal Contracts Administrator who has a passion for the Federal/DOD Government Contracting. **Position can be performed in Annapolis Junction, MD or McLean, VA with the possibility of remote work** This person will function as an individual contributor by managing their own contract portfolio within the Cyber Mission Sector, representing complex, and strategic programs. This position requires a high-level of accountability and responsibility. Accordingly, the ideal candidate will need to exercise a high degree of initiative and judgment, have a history of strict adherence to policies, and demonstrate a strong business acumen. Job Responsibilities: * With limited oversight provide full life-cycle contract management, including developing, negotiating, administering, and closing out Government contracts and task orders within the Cyber Mission Sector. * Identify and work with business unit and contract leadership to advise and resolve complex contractual challenges, including ability to meet schedules, cost and technical requirement concerns, and requirement changes. * Support internal Request for Proposal (RFP) and review meetings, contract pre-award meetings, final negotiations, and draft/finalization of contract, to include performing risk analysis of RFPs (identify risks and prepare mitigation strategies) and providing input for pricing strategies, prepare formal contract correspondence and ensure compliance with contract policies, procedures, and standard operating practices to provide successful proposal and contract execution. * Analyze, prepare and negotiate contractual agreements such as Teaming, Non-Disclosure, Memorandum of Understandings/Memorandum of Agreements and other binding agreements as the business opportunity presents. Basic Qualifications for Sr. Principal Contracts Administrator: * Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 10 years experience OR Master's degree with a minimum of 8 years * Working knowledge with FAR/DFARS, Federal IDIQ and supplemental acquisition regulations of government agencies * Demonstrated ability to apply sound judgment to proposal strategy, contract formation and customer relationships. * Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to relay and receive information effectively with a variety of stakeholders is required. * Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret security clearance. US citizenship required Preferred Qualifications: * Experience contracting with GSA and FEDSIM * Proficient working within a Contract Lifecycle Management tool such as GovWin or UNISOM * Knowledgeable of all contract types and terms * Deltek CostPoint experience * Proficient with Excel (can create and maintain spreadsheets) * Has good understanding of policies and procedures, and can implement * Strong work ethic and can effectively work independently, has excellent organizational, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills that are key for a successful team environment * Active Top Secret Clearance We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
