A week in the life of a Senior Windows System Administrator: Travel to Air Force Bases with a deployment rotation of 1 week travel and 1 week telecommuting. Travel to customer locations and perform site surveys/customer interviews to identify and document existing Active Directory structures, objects to be migrated, and asset criticality and priority. Develop comprehensive site survey reports and migration and installation plans for Active Directory migration. Migrate legacy Active Directory instances to a consolidated Directory Forest. Technical degree or equivalent in experience. 7 years of experience in Windows System Administration to include Windows Active Directory, Windows Server 2012 and LDAP (required), and Windows Server 2016 (preferred). Active Directory Migration experience. MCSE Certification preferred. Skills and abilities: Highly motivated, self-starter and team player with a high energy level and willingness to aggressively take on responsibility. Demonstrated ability to approach job responsibilities with a focus on process improvement. Excellent computer knowledge and experience. Able to work and effectively communicate with all levels of management Sound technical experience in assessing IT support requirements as well as conducting required administrative tasks required for the projects.
