We are looking for an HPC System Administrator to join us.We have a team of HPC Engineers who design, implement, upgrade, optimize, and support a wide range of HPC solutions from a variety of HPC vendors. This team focuses on HPC systems-level work across a variety of commercial and Federal customers. Although we have strong relationships with HPC vendors, one of our corporate discriminators is we have enough expertise and experience to be vendor agnostic to best meet our customers' unique requirements. The work is tremendously interesting with no end to the learning curve.US citizenship is a requirement to apply. Top Secret Clearance is preferred but the ability to acquire a Top Secret is required. Job Responsibilities:Systems integration working with various HPC cluster management tools, parallel file systems, job schedulers, etc.Pre-proposal prototyping and testing to include on-premise resources, as well as Cloud.Post-award installation and configuration to include designing and ultimately performing acceptance test plansImplementing and documenting best practices as they pertain to HPC systems administrationRequirements:Knowledge and experience of Linux/Unix operating systems, file systems, networking and security.Programming and scripting knowledge and experience (eg, Perl, Python, C++, etc.)Experience with a parallel file system such as GPFS, Lustre, or BeeGFSMust be willing to share on-call duties with other staff to provide 24x7 supportOccasional travel for training or to help support remote systemsPreferred:Experience with Benchmarking/Baselining tools such as IOR and HPLExperience running and tuning other BenchmarksEducation and Experience Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical degree, or equivalent of education and experience.4 years of experience, preferably in an HPC-related area.To learn more about RedLine please visit our website at www.redlineperf.com
