**This position can be performed currently from a remote location in the U.S. but will require presence in a Freddie Mac office in the future.**
Our Impact:
The Single-Family Operational Controls Testing Team is responsible for working with management to evaluate and test key operational controls owned by the Single-Family line of business.
Your Impact:
In this role, you will be expected to:
  • Understand and examine business processes, risks, and controls
  • Validate key operational control designations and associated control objectives
  • Develop sampling methodologies (for testing) and associated test scripts
  • Test key operational controls and document test results
  • Ensure compliance with corporate operational controls testing policies/standards
  • Assist in the production of testing-related management reports
  • Provide control design advice to risk leads and control owners
  • 5-7 years of operational risk/process management and/or audit experience
  • Bachelor's degree and equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with controls testing (design reviews and operational efficiency testing)
Keys to Success in this Role:
  • Sound analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to think broadly but also be detail-oriented
  • Results-oriented approach
  • Previous big four experience and/or professional certifications (CIA, Six Sigma green belt/black belt, etc.)
  • Experience with IT General Controls/technology-related controls testing concepts and standard methodologies is a plus
