Position Overview:
We are seeking a tech-passionate, creative, hands-on, hardworking, robust AWS-Machine Learning engineer to join the Freddie Lab's IT Tech Modernization team. As an AWS Machine Learning Engineer, you'll be researching, innovating and creating Prototypes and POCs for AI Platforms, tools & technologies to build models, deploy models into Production and monitor their performance. You will design and develop software to extract, clean and manipulate large datasets both structured and unstructured. You will build and test the effectiveness and accuracy of Supervised and Unsupervised AI models including Image Analytics and NLP.

The iLabs (Innovation Labs) Tech Strategy team supports business teams to innovate in the secondary mortgage business by evolving ideas into experiments/concepts into products through Lean Product Development and Agile Methodologies.

Your Impact:

You will be working on the latest cutting edge tools and technologies as a first mover based on technology trends and in alignment with business objectives. You will be researching, learning and implementing innovative, creative and cost effective ways to safely introduce new technologies to the Freddie Mac environment.

  • 3+ years of experience with machine learning
  • 3+ years of experience working with AWS including development of CloudFormation templates
  • 5+ years of experience in Python (NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, pandas, plotly) and any other open source programming languages for large scale data analysis
  • 2+ years of experience with at least one of the ML Frameworks/libraries XGBoost, TensorFlow, Keras, MXNet, PyTorch, Theano
  • Knowledge of different Natural Language models and Neural Network architectures
  • 3+ years of experience in SQL and No-SQL database technologies
  • Exposure to large microservice-based architectures, container orchestration frameworks: Kubernetes/Amazon EKS
  • Comprehensive knowledge of modern statistical learning methods
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or IT
